Who we are

Home Meals Guide is a privately owned website operated by WeCallMedia LLC. It is an advertisement and information service. It is not a government website and is not operated by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the New York State Department of Health, New York State Medicaid, the City of New York, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, WholeYouNYC, Public Health Solutions, any Medicaid health plan, or any meal provider.

What we do and do not do

  • We share general information about a New York Medicaid benefit that may cover home-delivered meals.
  • We do not decide who is eligible, approve services, or enroll anyone in Medicaid or any program.
  • Eligibility is determined only through the screening and assessment process run by New York's Social Care Networks and Medicaid health plans.
  • Answering the questions on this site does not mean you qualify or will receive meals.

How we are paid

Calls to the phone number on this site, and calls back after you submit our form, are handled by WeCallMedia LLC, which helps with screening and referrals. Calls may use automated technology, including an artificial voice assistant. We may receive compensation from partners for calls and form submissions. This compensation does not change the cost of the benefit, which is free to members who qualify.

You can apply directly

You do not need to use this website or call our number. You can ask your Medicaid health plan for a health-related social needs screening, or contact WholeYouNYC, the Social Care Network for Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, at 646-619-6400. Other regions of New York are served by their own Social Care Networks, listed by the New York State Department of Health.

Program information

Benefit descriptions on this site summarize the New York State Department of Health HRSN Services and Infrastructure Protocol (approved December 18, 2024). Benefits, limits, and eligibility rules are set by New York State and the federal government and can change. The program is part of a Medicaid demonstration currently approved through March 31, 2027.

Calls

Calls may be recorded for quality and compliance purposes. You will never be asked to pay to be screened or to receive meals. If anyone asks you for payment, gift cards, or your bank information in connection with this benefit, hang up and report it to the New York State Attorney General at 1-800-771-7755.
